Continuing from my post below…
The other day, I asked the girls to “turn on” their ears as we were about to head into a store and I wanted it to be a successful trip. Katelyn then proceeds to tell Vanessa that she now needs a key to “turn on” her ears and that Katelyn is holding the key for her. She gives Vanessa the key, allowing Vanessa to “turn” them on. And then Vanessa hands Katelyn the key back. I smiled at this very clever imagination my girls have and thought that that would be the last time I saw the key.
Nope, now they need a key every time they turn their ears “on”.
And today, they informed me that their ears have volume control too.
