Katelyn started school again this past week. It was a great day for her! School brings her so much joy and happiness. She beams when at school, loving the social interaction, the jobs she completes, and the friendships she makes.When asked what she did at school, Katelyn told me, “I liked school. I made new friends and played. I did nothing else.” Somehow, I think she did a little more than that!
I wondered if this was a preview of a future conversation with a 13-year-old Katelyn?
Me: How was school?Katelyn: Fine
Me: What did you do today?
Katelyn: Nothing
Me: Did you do anything exciting?
Katelyn: Nope
